WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR GRANT
BUSINESS ENTERPRISE
The applicant for the grant must be engaged in a business activity with a VAT number / enterprise number, either as a self-employed person (individual) or a company (legal entity) in an approved economic sector. The sector of activity will determine the type of grants available and the address of the place of business (= establishment unit) will determine the reference region for the awarding of grants.
SIZE
The size of a business applying for grant affects the types of grants available and the amount in percentage of the grant. Most grants is intended for SMEs as defined by EU legislation: fewer than 250 employees AND turnover under 50 million € or balance sheet total under 43 million €.
Starters (= with less than 4 years of existence) may be awarded a higher percentage under certain conditions.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for grant must be in good administrative and fiscal standing. The address of the headquarters must host a genuine activity requiring the occupation of professional premises.
